I'm having a problem to figure out the track and rear elevations of the
standard 30' freight shed. The drawings on the web site show portions
of the elevations about 36 feet long or so with one door and one
window. Doors and windows are marked as being on 32' centres. So far
so good...
How long was the typical 30 freight shed? If a hypothetical freight
shed had two doors (disregarding the continuous door version for now),
would it have three windows and two doors to be symmetrical, or just
repeated door/window sections as in the drawings?
Does anyone have/know of photographs of CP a standard freight shed?
Perhaps I'm creating a problem where none exists, but I must admit to
being quite stumped on this one.
