Originally Alder Scale Models manufactured very nice 1/87 CPR swtichstands in
both tall (mainline use) and short (yard and sidings) versions. Alder was
purchased by Surrey Custom Models and unfortunately Surrey recently closed its
doors. It is my understanding that the Alder line will continue with yet
another Co. but I'm not sure which one. Also, Overland (OMI) made tall and
short CPR switch stands that might be obtained via eBay (on very rare
occasion). Canadian Model Trains had carried the OMI stands for years but,
regretfully, I always put off getting any before production stopped (always
purchase ASAP if one can afford, and if I recall, these were resonably priced).
Finally, Miniatures by Eric (miniaturesbyeric.com) manufactures a low CPR stand
(#S7 Switch Stand), that I have yet to see.
