Subject: Licensing Matters Conference - of interest to Community Council members
Hi Karen, not sure if you have heard or seen the Flyer for the Licensing
Matters Conference which is being held on 8th March?? See attached flyer.
This is an excellent opportunity for Community Council members to be involved
in the consultation on overprovision of off-sales premises and voice any
concerns/supports they may wish the Licensing Board to take into consideration
during the review process. I am sure a full agenda with details of speakers
etc will be prepared very soon and I will forward this to you as soon as it is
available. Perhaps in the meantime you could advise the Community Councils of
the event and ask them to save the date. It will be a day time event and it is
expected to be well attended. The link below will take you to the current
policy. The overprovision of off-sales premises is mentioned on page 13, under
section 9.8.
