Good evening everyone,
Following the evolving advice and guidance that is being issued and updated
from UK Government and Scottish Government on 'Coronavirus: Covid 19', we will
be postponing meetings of the Community Council in order to prioritise the
health and wellbeing of members and our communities, until we have confirmation
that is is safe to resume.

This is based on the most recent updates, that while attendance to some key
public service sectors will continue to be essential, there is advice to
postpone any additional meetings and attendance to office spaces.
This will present a challenge to how our Community Councils and communities are
able to keep in contact with each other.
As members of the Civic Forum and Community Council Forum, we can share and
distribute officially verified information when helpful, as and when received
from Government, Council or Emergency Services sources.
It will also be important for us as the Community Council along with any
Resilience Groups, Community Groups, Community Centres and other bodies to
maintain lines of communication with communities and with public and emergency
services as and when needed.
If required and as appropriate, our existing communication channels can also be
utilised for sharing of information as needed, such as the recent 'Age Scotland
Tips' for supporting older aged residents.
If you are in search of information, encounter any challenges or know of any
vulnerable or at-risk neighbours and residents who could benefit from support,
please do let us know as we can at the very least help to provide information
on sign-posting, information and key contacts.

Again, we will be postponing meetings of the Community Council until safe to
resume, but keeping contact with each other throughout this period remotely,
and in contact with the most vulnerable in our communities where possible.
