We use CCH eSign for 8879s and like it very much.  Simple and cost effective.

DocuSign or CCH eSign?

Are there any other products that the group recommends?

Here are some basic requirements that I came up with for digital signatures:

•             Provide a means to capture signer’s intent
•             Ability to integrate with internal applications to provide
storage of signed document with the association record.
•             Provide Opt-out Clause functionality
•             Provide the ability to retain the agreement to ensure that it is
accessible to both parties and retained in the form it was when signed. Note:
This requirement is easily solved by the next rule.  (Do we need to ensure that
they download a copy of the agreement?)
•             Ability for the signers to retain a copy of the signed document
•             Provide security against fraud, impersonation, and intrusion.

I know that none of these requirements consider any requirements that would be
specific to a CPA Firm.  What requirements do you see that a CPA Firm would
have?  I am looking to differentiate a products like Adobe Sign from Safesend
returns.
What product(s) have you used for digital signatures?
What would you recommend?  Why?
What wouldn’t you recommend?  Why?
What else would you consider?

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
