Im curious if we could run wireshark to see where the traffic goes to snag the
files ourselves directly, instead of from the stupid app.  I can't imagine they
have special provisions in place that only allow the Install and Update manager
to get the files, but who knows.

Good luck with the automating it part. Its all individual components that rely
on their side working in the first place. There updater actually just downloads
a crappily made .exe that uses 7z to unpack and then install that's why it
takes so dam long to install a 3MB update.

Rather than reinvent the wheel myself, have any of you here automated the
install of the CCH Axcess client?

On the issue of Axcess platform known issues, perhaps there's some way we can
crowdsource this easily/inexpensively?

We've been on Axcess Document less than a month and have already experienced
XLSM files being blocked to check-in and Share Safe sending being broken, yet I
have to open tickets with CCH to find out they're aware of the issue even
though it seems to be system-wide or at least widespread.
