Hi Julie,



In addition to my submission I am adding a further objection regarding waste 
management. I have just received an email from Kathie John at the Council 
regarding my request to obtain a copy of the developers' Waste Management Plan 
only to find out the Council doesn't have one on record as the developers 
haven't completed one and the Council hasn't insisted that they submit one as 
is required by Council.



This is clearly another breach by the developers and indicates that they have 
no plan to handle the volume of waste the current development produces let 
alone and additional 148 units.



Together with my previous points from my initial objection and this additional 
information it is clear that no further development be allowed beyond what has 
already been approved.



I would also add that with this new information a much more detailed review of 
the existing approval should also be carried out as it too may be unsustainable.

DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION NO.: 0405/176/07

PROPERTY: 81-86 Courallie Avenue (Formerly 78 Marlborough Road), Homebush West

PROPOSAL: A Section 82A review application has been received by Council in 
relation to the subject site and a previous determination to refuse a Section 
96 Modification Application relating to Stage 1D (Buildings 2, 3 and 4) to 
provide a total of (150) additional units.



Under Section 82A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, 
Council may review its previous determination, and may change its decision.



Reference is made to your submission relating to the abovementioned development 
application.



Council in assessing the application must consider various legislative 
requirements as well as any written submissions. A decision to approve or 
refuse the application will be made having regard to these matters.



Your submission, along with any others received will be considered as part of 
the assessment. In some cases submissions may be referred to the applicant for 
their response, which can lead to a redesign of the development.



Should the application be referred to the Council Meeting for determination, 
you will be further advised and invited to attend that meeting. In any event, 
you will be advised of Council’s decision regarding the proposal.



Please note that a person who makes a submission may also need to disclose 
reportable political donations and gifts made to a Councillor or employee of 
Council, as required by the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
