My husband is a respiratory nurse at Dell Children’s hospital in Austin,Texas.
As I’m sure you all have heard by now, PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment ) is
in extremely short supply throughout the country. He is reusing N95 masks,
gowns and sharing face shields, etc. My brother in-law and a few of his
engineer colleagues with 3D printers are ready to pitch in. They can produce
masks and face shields. Shields would be printed first at a high volume and low
manufacturing cost. They’ve created a Go fund me to help with needed materials.
