Thanks Tai and the Austin Monitor for getting out the word.
The Austin Independent School District Board of Trustees is hashing out the
details of what to include in a potential 2022 bond package for the
November ballot. There are two proposals up for a vote: a $1.75 billion
bond that requires no tax rate increase, and a $2.25 billion bond that
calls for a $0.01 increase to the debt service tax rate (though there will
be a decrease in the district’s overall tax rate). The school board is
scheduled to vote on the bond proposals tonight, Aug. 11, and community
members are invited to give feedback at the meeting

I guess AISD can't say we did not give the residents an opportunity to
speak on the matter.
What a "crock". At least there is an opportunity for comments.
Makes you wonder about the public concerns or questions on this.
Yesterday, an article indicated there was only one BOND.
The $2.25 billion was the selected one.
