As the proud Father of Chris Scafero, I would like to publicly give a BIG shout
out to Chris. Chris has been your Competition Director and has does a superb
job in that position. I may be bias, but the fact remains that Chris has taken
on the role of Competition Director for several years now. Chris not only
makes sure that the competition events are well organized, but he makes sure
that the club competition equipment, including the club trailer, is available
for the events as scheduled. Behind the scenes he prepares and publishes all
the results of the autocross events. He also prepares the flyers for most of
the autocross events and gets them posted for all to view. Chris also sets up
the autocross courses a day ahead of the events to make sure the course will be
ready for all to enjoy and to keep the event on schedule as published.
This past weekend we had an autocross. It was a rainy day and filled with some
timing issues. However, Chris was right there to get the issues straightened
out and move the event on as scheduled. I heard a lot of good comments about
Chris' job as Comp Director that day and they were well deserved.
I hope I speak for everyone in the club when I say THANKS CHRIS FOR A JOB VERY
WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
