Greetings from Des Plaines, IL, where we're enjoying low humidity today and
temps in the low 70s! What an AMAZING contrast to the people roast you folks
in the great southwest and beyond are enduring!
My personal music library continues to grow slowly but steadily; it exceeds
320,000 titles now. The newest addition is an album by Little Big Town, a
group comprised of two gals and two guys. They have enjoyed major success
with their handful of CD releases. Their newest is The Breaker. I REALLY
like this album very much. So much so I wanted to share a couple songs from
it. They're posted in the Public folder on Dropbox. No, you don't need
Dropbox to download them but you will need to follow these links. The first

Both are sung by the male lead. What I like so much about these two tracks
are that the first is sung from the male perspective about lost love. The
Breaker is sun by the same lead about his breaking the heart of a girl but
not having done so intentionally. And both have uncharacteristically abrupt
endings. The hit single from this album is Better Man, sung by one of the
two gals. Perhaps I'll include a link to it next time. Both tracks linked
here should be listened to with headphones. Enjoy!
