Dear Chris,
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for holding this space with such integrity,
inclusiveness and constancy. This forum continues to be of huge value to me.
Even though I am mostly a silent listeners, there are often strong responses in
my mind/ heart and spirit, which don't make it into written replies. They help
me to keep questioning my assumptions/beliefs/conditioning and are seeds for
change in the professional as much as in the personal realm.
As a facilitator in a small Australian country town with only a few colleges
close by I also value being part of a tangible worldwide community of
constellation practitioners. I am repeatedly in awe of the vast individual and
collective experience/s of the people who post here, the vast collective field
we work in and the courage we have to stand in it surrendered to 'not knowing'
and an 'empty heart'.
With gratitude to you, Chris

A heartfelt thank you Chris, for making this forum possible, a glass of

Cheers Chris! I will certainly down a glass of good Chilean Cabernet in a

Your "thankometer" will reach high levels as many of CT's members (actively
or in the quiet of their hearts and minds) join the anniversary's goodwishes.
So, some more thanks from another place "down south": thanks for creating
this space and for your care, energy and persistence in keeping and looking
after it for all these years.
In this new discipline you have consistently maintained a space open to the
many different approaches to the work, whilst providing also the necessary
"order" (with the occasional and inevitable discrepancies). In this way you
show a living example of inclusion, openness and holding the space. I am also
certain that though few members speak out, there is a big listening audience
and for all, this has been a true resource, an excellent source of support
and development of the work, both for the English and non-English speaking
international Constellations Community.
Congratulations, heartfelt thanks and gratitude and best wishes to you and
for the continuation of CT's journey.

Hi all
We have now reached the tenth anniversary of Constellation Talk. I thought
it was a good opportunity to begin a reflection on where we have come from,
how we are doing and where we are going.
The very first message of this group was posted on February 15 2003,when
the group was started by me for people in Australia and New Zealand. It was
a natural place for such a group to start. We here in the south are so far
away from everyone else in our vast sparsely populated island continent of
Australia with the distant islands of New Zealand. We here are also very
long distances away from each other. So this group was designed to help us
to overcome this geographical isolation.
Somehow by the end of April 2003 the group transmogrified into an
international group. Over the years this group has been through a number of
distinct phases of development as it has gotten bigger and as we have had
to navigate our way through various controversies. We seem to have matured
in a good way through these processes. I have done my best as group founder
and moderator to shepherd it through. I have tried to maintain a culture of
transparency and openness to different viewpoints whilst supporting
respectful communication and severely limiting the use of this group for
the purposes of promotions or advertising. Sometimes some people have been
very unhappy with me but generally people seem quite happy and if voting
with your feet counts we now have 861 members from all around the globe.
Even with the advent of a number of constellation face book pages and
blogs, this group still remains strong. Nonetheless I don't expect it to
last forever. It will last as long as people find it helpful in a way that
works better than other alternatives. When it is meant to finish it will.
Meanwhile it still seems to be quite vibrant and lively. Any comments about
this -positive or negative or any suggestions for improvement are welcome.
If suggestions are made I would appreciate if people would consider how
easy they might be to implement and how much work might be involved. Also
it is worthwhile considering if you support the culture created here and to
consider the impact your suggestions may have on that as well.
I am looking forward to some interesting responses on our tenth anniversary
Cheers
and
Hasta la vista
