Hi Leslie
Thank you for your post.
I am saddened by the news of Robin Williams as well and felt that it could be
systemic so I goggled. Found out his half brother whom he was very bonded with
died almost 7 years ago to the date of the suicide.
It read that Robin Williams was devastated by the brother’s death and was at a
very low point in his life from this loss. His brother died on August 14 from
complication after a heart surgery. Robin Williams also just recently had heart
surgery.
His brother owned a winery and I also wondered if the drinking again is a way
of connecting to the brother?!
Could this be again “I love you so much, I will follow you into death?!” I am
only speculating here respectfully. I am so fond of this brilliantly creative
and gentle being.
Mr Robin Williams, may you rest in peace. You gave us so much. Thank you.
Blessings

Dear Friends,
As we respond to Robin Williams' suicide, I wanted to share a constellation
story. A client's grandmother had killed herself in quite a dramatic fashion,
and it was the central "story" of the family. The client understood she was
entangled with her grandmother well before she ever ran into FC work. She was
depressed and just not fully in life. In the constellation, the
representative for the grandmother said something that took everyone's breath
away: "I was reaching for life. Please remember that about me. I didn't want
to die. I was trying to live. It was all about life.”
RIP, Robin Williams, and peace for all of us who love people who have taken
their own lives, and who may be suffering in the light of this news.
And thank you, wise grandmother, for the learning.
