Greetings from Arizona !
Attached is my Columbine Re-Visited which follows a fascinating fractal
that developed within the Littleton community in the aftermath of the
massacre.
I seem to remember that we met a long time ago during Bert Hellinger's
prison project in Windsor, or perhaps I just imagine that... ? I will be in
the UK in June and early July for several events and may see you there ?
Warm Regards

I’m afraid I’ve only just seen your response but nevertheless I find it
very helpful because of the reference points you give. I’ve wanted to see
what you wrote on the Colombine High School massacre for some time and now I
know where to go!
I recall in my Royal Marines days going to an ammunition depot which has
the site of the battle of Edgehill (23 October 1642) within its grounds and
the local guards telling me that none of the guard dogs would venture onto
the battlefield site.
Warmly
Thom

Yes Thom, this is very interesting from systemic perspective. Opioids are
used to manage pain and so one wonders about such a great pain that would
involve an entire region. As I see it, the drugs are not the problem as
much as the symptom of the problem, which is pain. Rupert Sheldrake says that
places have "fields of memory" and there are such things as "family curses
" and Anne Ancelin Schützenberger ( the Ancestor Syndrome ) agrees and
there exists somewhere a DVD of their conversation with Bert Hellinger on
this subject. I wrote about this in some depth in my A Question of Balance
as I looked into the history of the place where the Colombine High School
massacre took place in Littleton, Colorado. Daan van Kampenhaut has also
written about this subject.
From just a brief look into the history of Blanchester, Ohio, in both
Clinton and Warren counties, the area was home to many Native American tribes
up until 1811, including the Shawnee,Miami,Delaware,Ottawa, Cherokee and
Wyandat. The local covered bridge, is called the "screaming bridge" and
considered haunted due to at least 36 deaths through accidents or suicides.
It seems clear that there has been and remains a strong pull toward death
in this family system and perhaps in the wider region as well. A
constellation may provide more clues as to where this pull originated...And
there is
no mention of the wife and mother. Where is she or what happened to her ?
Also, Bert Hellinger has said that addiction often indicates a disturbed
relationship with father.
Many factors to consider here...
Warm Regards,
Anngwyn St.Just Ph.D.

Interesting article in the NY Times today.
I wonder what a couple of constellations might reveal, the depth of what
is calling out to be healed
