Operator of the month
Dwight Stewart was driving the bus and noticed that a young boy, about 12 years
old, was looking anxious and not exiting the bus. Dwight called Bus Dispatch,
and the police and EMTs met the bus and ended up taking the young boy to the
hospital, because he was not responding when they were trying to ask him

Did you know?
Father’s Day, June 20, is also the first day of summer this year. The extended
forecast in the Farmers’ Almanac predicts a stormy summer, with a
greater-than-average frequency of thunderstorms for a large portion of the
country. Portions of the Central and Southern Rockies and Great Plains could
experience higher-than-normal thunderstorm activity.

Tip of the month
June is Colorado Bike Month. With more bikes expected on the road, RTD
encourages cyclists to ride safely around transit by staying alert, waiting for
gates arms to fully rise before crossing train tracks, walking bikes through
stations and avoiding bus blind spots. Learn more.
