You might try running the uninstall string.......... IF that is still in the
registry ???
A registry search should tell you............ Then go from there.

I did a double reboot- I had everything checked in the add/remove - I still
have a copy of ie7beta1 I willcheck that out in the morning I am beat-- I
tried uninstallers but they don't even pick it up because its no longer in
the add/remove panel . I am wondering if I manually uninstall it see where
that takes me and edit the registery. What do you think I edit the registery
. I probably will wreak windows xp sheesh!!! you got any suggestions?
