Yeah, I've been finding all kinds of stuff.
Did you look at that Snaptic (sp) that John mentioned. Evidently everything on that CD was downloaded to the HDD and some was installed. Python I'll never yse. Same with Perl.
You wanted KDE ??? That's in there too.
I can do mail and surf so I'm good for the moment. Lots there to read !


Ubuntu fires off no problem with the SBC DSL and I can switch machies by unplugging one and plugging in the other. If I dump Gimp, Open office, and much of the other stuff I never use it should be a speedy mail machine.
