There seems to be a bug (or a feature) in Thunderbird email client.
That quotation mark was placed in there when I tried to send Russ a BCC
of a post. Other names had the same problem. Apparently there is a hitch
in the gitalong so I'll take out the gazinta and it should work fine !

This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

Which domain are you sending to? My rbcsweb.net is down for good, no need to run it for no reason anymore and the web server goes to 0 from 1 on the power switch next week.
The alltel.net address is fine and will stay my email address.
