I have not gone to a polling place for about 6 years. The "vote by mail"
ability in Arizona allows one to get the ballot early and actually research the
little known candidates for school boards, county and state positions (who knows
anything about a state mine inspector) and the sometimes very weird propositions
that voter signatures have placed on the ballot. One will allow medical
marijuana to be sold by the state highway patrol from their confiscated stocks.
If nothing else, purity of product will be hard to guarantee!
I dislike a lot of things about what we do in this country, but most of all I
hate to hear whining from folks who don't vote and claim their vote does not
make a difference. Where your vote really does not make a difference, like
Iraq, you pretty much have to vote and sign your ballot. Otherwise.....
