New toy !!!!!!!!!!!!
Category: Programming / Text Editors Synopsis: PSPad is a great text editor with syntax highlighting, hex editing, HTML tidying, built-in diff etc. To top it all, it writes its settings to local INI files. I was a great fan of UltraEdit all along, but I hate reconfiguring the settings every time I run it on a new machine. Now, I have switched over to PSPad completely, and carry it around in my USB drive. It is great for editing anything you throw at it: C/C++ source codes, HTML, PHP etc. Writes settings to: Application folder How to extract: Download the CAB archive and uncompress to a folder of your choice. While you are at it, grab one of the dictionary files and uncompress to the Spell subfolder. Now, double-click on PSPad.exe and you are good to go!
