If you have RoadRunner. Plug the Cable modem into the Linksys, plug your PC into the Linksys, power up the linksys, power up the PC and your ready to go. (assuming TCP/IP is installed and has everything set to obtain info from server (IP, DHCP ect...) Do the same TCP/IP settings to each PC, and you should be able to see every PC. Do note, Win 95 may require the latest Dial-up netoworking to work. (It also updates the TCP/IP protocol and Winsock files that are the same files the LAN uses.) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Eric Vogel -- NTug Member -- ICQ# 1452761 - A professional is someone who can do his best work when he doesn't feel like it. -- Alistair Cooke - Computer Talk Shop List Owner: http://www.questforcertification.com/cts ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ----- Original Message ----- From: <CRAZYDOVE@xxxxxxx> To: <computertalkshop@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, April 10, 2001 5:44 PM Subject: [CTS] Re: Online Cable > That is all taken care of Russ..I am on AOL all day, from morning till when I > sign off later at night.
