Every favorate takes up 1k of space. If your cluster is 4k, that 1k filles up
4k. If they are stored in on file like Netscape, yes alot less room.

Yea, I've dumped a lot too. I'm down now to around 100,000 in IE Favs, AOL
Favs and Jetlinks. IE Favs is down to 36,000 since I cleaned it out and moved
the folder a couple of months ago.
Chas, I can drop 30 or 40 thou on you so you have something to do tomorrow??
Get Jetlinks......... saves a helluva lot of hdd space and makes links much
easier to manipulate.
Dennis, check your Properties sheet for your Windows\Favorites folder and
tell us the size of that folder and then bytes used to hold those files. Scarey!
