I agree with Andrea.  Andrea rules. 

How close are you to finishing the Big D?  If you?re close, I would take the other gig.  Tenure is your friend. 

If you?re not, I?d plow through and get it done.  Done is good, just like your shirt said.  Besides, there will always be good positions down the road, ones which shine in your favor with the Ph.D. in hand.

I am going to have class outside tonight.  I hope the ice cream truck shows up.
