Hello Gardeners!
*Tilling:* If all goes as planned, Steve Leach, the garden's tiller guy
will be tilling the garden on Thursday!
*Can you help?* Once tilled, the next steps are laying out the garden plots
with stakes and string followed by hooking up the water system. Many hands
make light work! Can you help out with strings and stakes on Friday at 5
PM? Or with water set up on Saturday morning around 8:30-9? Water set up
takes a bit more strength and agility than strings and stakes. We need 5-6
people for each time. Please text Dan if you can help- 603-581-4352 (don't
forget to identify yourself).
*No till plots:* if you think you'd like to give no-till gardening a try,
there are still a few plots available. Just let Dan know.
*Gardening books:* looking for some gardening tips? Wondering what no-till
gardening is all about? We have a few wonderful gardening books in the
shed. Feel free to borrow (and return) them.
*Charlie Nardozzi* will be at the Morristown Centennial Library on
Saturday, 5/14, 11-12, to talk about how to grow vegetables, herbs, and
flowers in a raised bed.
