Following up on this as I'm anxious to get the translation work going.
I'm comfortable with the state of the code for 0.9, having done a few
tasks yesterday to fix some small bugs I found. I'd like to get the
final translations in by Tuesday so we can release on Wednesday, if
possible.

The french and spanish language translations are mostly done, with
just a few untranslated entries from a recent commit.
The german and portuguese translations need to be done. I've reached
out to Rainier, who indicated to me last month that he could do the
german translations. Unfortunately there's nobody committed to doing
the portuguese translations for us unless Joao is back and available.
If anybody can help with the translations, please let me know. I'd
like to get the 0.9.0-1.0 build tagged and up for testing by
Wednesday, the 30th.
