Man, that sucks. It should come back to you.

Weird story with a question. Back in 1992 or 1993 I was walking around at the
San Diego Comic Con & ran into Bill Willingham. We had lived in the same
apartment complex a few years previously & so we chatted for a bit. I picked
up a cover from him that was a parody of the 1st WildC.A.T.S. cover, called
WildB.R.A.T.S. After that I headed back to my table, but stopped by the
Wildstorm booth where they had a ton of art for sale (most of which would now
cost the same a s a decent car). When I got back to my table, I realized that
I had left the cover there. I went back to the Wildstorm table to look with
no luck. I never saw the art again until it turned up on the latest Comiclink
auction
https://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FPREVIEW%2EASP%3Fcode%3D2021sept%26itemtype%3D1%26pg%3D10%23Item%5F1507762&id=1507762&itemType=1.
Anyway, I have long considered it water under the bridge, but I always
wondered what happened to it. If someone knows where it went from the
Wildstorm booth back then until now, I would love to know. There are covers
by Bill that I really wish I had kept (mostly Elementals), but this isn't one
of them. I just wonder what happened to it in the meantime.
