I'm looking for a Mike Ploog page from Man-Thing #10. Last I saw it, Ken
Danker had it for sale at Heroescon, which is, admittedly, 20 years ago (sigh).
If anyone has any pages that they might be looking to sell from that issue,
let me know.
I remember 3 things from that show: 1) I bought my Spectre Madame Xanadu cover
instead of the Ploog page; 2) I bid and won on a Tim Truman Black Lamb page
(Benefit auction for CBLDF); and, 3) John Mankuta was manning a booth and
wearing a neon lime green leather jacket.
BTW, I've been wondering what happened to a lot of the folks that were in comic
art at that time. I know Ken Danker and Tom Horowiz stopped dealing in art,
but are they still collecting? Dr. V?
