FREE event with FREE food from Spice of Africa, El Pato Feliz, and New
Copper Penny.
Polo (Ronault Catalani) will be MC at this event.
3:30pm Parade starts at Glenwood Park all the way to Lents Park
4:30pm Multicultural dance and music performances by CP
6:30pm Seven Year Tango
8:00pm Iron Man 2 Movie in the Park
Performance ~ 4.30pm
Francisco Aguirre and his Mariachi Chapala band!
Sunflower Chinese Folk will perform Han, Dai, Tibetan, Yao and Xinjiang
dance.
Portland Pure Belly Dance will showcase movements from ancient and sacred
traditions.
Natalia Hougen, Portland' s most popular Russian singer will serenade most
Popular Russian and Gypsy Folk Songs. World famous songs Moscow Nights,
Kalinka and Ochi Cherniye (Dark Eyes).
Indonesian Performance Art of Oregon will perform rare Balinese dance, Sekar
Jagat which means beautiful flower adorn the world giving beautiful color.
An Daire Academy of Irish Dance will fire up stage with Irish Stepdancing
which will end with lessons for all audiences.
Reaching and Empowering All People (REACH, Inc) will share stories by
students with a violin performance and poetry reading.
Portland's very own Marvin Gaye: Richard Greer will bring the whole house
down with his soulful music ~ you don't want to miss this!
Activities for all ages: Bounce house, soccer kick competition, art and
crafts section with a paint spinner, story time, clowns, face painting,
photo booth, Pioneer Living exhibit, OMSI brainteasers, sack races, and
more!
