This is a reminder about the new dance tryout this Saturday, July 7th,
starting 10 am at Peggy's Barn.
If this is your second, or even third reminder, that is OK. (if it is
your 1st, check in with me to make sure I didn't screw up the email
invitation!)
The actual schedule is below this note, along with some information from
Peggy about logistics.
Bring your lunch, a pot luck contribution for dinner, and bathing suit
and towel.

We're looking forward to the tryout event this Saturday, July 7th
The weather looks like it'll be just perfect, at 80ish F*
WAIT! STOP the presses!!* That said, the forecast @ now shows heavy rain
on Friday might mean we won't be parking on my neighbor's lawn across
the street from our place, so here's the scoop:
*Location & Parking*
* Hosted by Peggy Leiby & Ret Turner: 524 Cedar Hill Road, Ambler, PA
19002 (in Horsham Township.)
* There's room for about 10 (or 12, if parked tightly) cars in our
driveway and there's info about that below these bullets. Please let
us know if you have difficulty walking, and we'll reserve a driveway
spot for you.
* Unless rain turns the ground soft, we can park on our neighbor's
grass opposite our driveway. You'll see at least one car there if
it's OK to do so. Please don't park past the sawhorse that we'll
place as an end mark.
* Otherwise, go about 100 yards (2-minute walk) down the street to
Charter Lane on the right, and park there. You can stop here first
to unload before proceeding to park.
* There's also a parking lot with 16 spaces that's a 4-minute walk
from our driveway by the Horsham Township Powerline walking/bike
trail, just past Charter Lane.

About using the driveway, let's follow this plan: anyone who arrives
early who plans to be here ALL day, especially if you're a musician with
equipment to haul, is welcome to park there if there's a place to pull
all the way in so that someone else can park in back of you. Let's have
the "someone else" spots reserved for musicians who will "come and go",
ok? We'll be out there early on to help direct who parks where.
*Picnic & Pot-luck*
* We've got plenty of plates, utensils & napkins. We aim for as little
"landfill" as possible, so we'll be washing, recycling and
composting as much as possible.
* Bring a cooler if it's convenient for food that needs refrigeration.
You'll place it on The Cooler Way by the "pachysandra round".
* We have seating outside for about 20 of you, but please think about
bringing a garden chair/blanket if you have a favorite and it's easy
to haul it. We've about 20 seats inside if you prefer that.
* Our swimming pool is ready and willing to have you take a break!
