Dear Civil Society Colleagues,
The International Partnerships Division (IPD) at IOM is pleased to announce
that the nextvirtual IOM-Civil Society Information Sharing Session will take
place onThursday, 23 July from 14:00 – 15:30 CEST.
As per suggestions received, this session will focus on sharing experiences on
the implementation of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular
Migration (GCM), and examples of good practices.
Please find below information on registration for this event and a tentative
agenda.
Topics for consideration:
- Civil Society Engagement in implementing the GCM – presentations by the
Civil Society Action Committee, Global Coalition on Migration and
Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, and other civil society representatives
- Updates on the UN Network on Migration
- Discussion
- Updates from IOM
