Take note, all: Collaborative law got a whole sentence of publicity in an
article on "Happy Divorce," in the most recent edition of the mainstream
Newsweek magazine. The subject was holiday gathering of amicably divorced
parents
and new spouses and the children of all of the above together, so that
children do not have to miss anybody on the holiday. Either the practice is
becoming more common, or the former and current wives who co-wrote a book on
post-divorce etiquette prompted the story in order to promote their book.
Also
noted was the children's need for an end to conflict post-divorce. Mediation
and co-parenting training required by courts were touted as the biggest
contributors to the new trend in amicable divorce....Yet, one thing is
certain,
collaborative divorce is becoming known, if Newsweek mentions it.
