Call yourselves whatever. To your clients, you remain their lawyers.
If they wanted anything other than that, they would seek it.
The difference is in your approach.
My clients are comforted by the fact they have "lawyers". They thus believe
their respective rights and interests are protected, regardless of the
approach. It is important to many to have a big brother or sister with them
when negotiating, particularly those who can lead them effectively through a
resolution process without the threat of litigation.
In my books there is nothing wrong with being called a lawyer. After all, that
is how you graduated. Then there is how you practice your profession..
