We have something Parenting after Separation courses offered by our local
court. Often judges order people to attend these programs. Many people
attend them on their own for information. Our Collaborative Law contract
requires our clients to attend. In two of our local cities the Parenting
after Separation course is compulsory when children are involved before
parties can bring motions (except in emergencies etc.) or proceed with any
action.
The director of the department who runs the parenting courses has just
emailed me and asked for 500 copies to be distributed at their courses
including where it is compulsory. They also distribute pamphlets on
mediation, the courts, counselling etc. This is a great bit of news for our
group.
The Court House administrator has also permitted us to place our brochure
with the others at our Court House.
We are going to approach our local public library to see if they will let us
place copies with their other pamphlets.
I emailed a PDF version of our brochure around earlier.
We had 10,000 printed up at a cost of $.30 each.
