In response to those asking about parenting coordination training,
AFCC is having a whole track on parenting coordination at their next
conference, in New Orleans May 27-30th. Robin Deutsch is doing basic
PC and Arnie Sheinvold is doing a more advanced training. Together
they meet the new Louisiana 26 hour requirement for PC training, which
is also equivalent to may other jurisdiction's training requirements.
There are also two PC training programs sponsored by AFCC in
collaboration with Loyola University New Orleans College of Law,
February 9-12, 2009. These programs are designed for those who want
to become parenting coordinators, those who work with parenting
coordinators and those who want to improve their skills as parenting
coordinators.
You can find out more information about all of these programs through
the AFCC (Association of Family & Conciliation Courts) Web site at
www.AFCCnet.org and click on "conferences" and "training". Hope this
helps! - Linda
