Happy New Year, everyone. Well, it's time to set up the schedule for the
Northwest Suburban Practice Group. The first meeting will be February 24 at
4:30 at Chessie's. Chessie's is going to continue to let us have the private
room downstairs at no charge despite the fact that they are under new
management. For those of you who came to the open house, I'm sure you noticed
the updating downstairs. With their kindness in mind, please plan to come and
please plan to order a drink of some type and perhaps an appetizer so we can
encourage them to continue being generous with us. If we all choose to just
have water I'm sure we will lose our privileges!
The first meeting will be Lessons from New Orleans. Several of you have agreed
to present a few points from the forum for both those of you who were not able
to attend, and for those of you who were in different workshops. One of the
problems with the forum was choosing which workshop to attend. They had so
many to offer that there was invariably more than one good choice in each time
slot! We may continue this topic for at least one more meeting because there
were so many fresh ideas to share.

Please mark your calendars for the last Tuesday of the month in even months for
2009 for our practice group meetings.
Also, please log in to the CLII web site. There is a message from our
president. There is a calendar of events. The group is trying to have more
contact with its members and this is a great way to get the information out to
everyone, but we have to log in, and hardly anyone is logging in. Please get
used to going to the web site for information and events. Put it in your diary
now to log in at least once a week to see if there is anything new.
