Dear Friends and Colleagues:
On Tuesday, I began a new collaborative case with Maury White, the chair of
our local collaborative practice group. Maury and I have had a number of
cases together and we comfortably share the same collaborative vision.
Following our first meeting, I received an email from my client,. When I
responded and asked her if I could share her note with you all, she
responded: "I am happy and honored to contribute, in any small way, to that
which brings peaceful resolution to conflict." A portion of her note is as
follows: .
.... I am confident that you and Maury will support me and XXX in coming
to a fair and equitable resolution. I also feel relieved, not only by
your displays of professionalism, but also by the genius inherent in
the humanitarian approach of the collaborative process. It's not over
till it's over, but I haven't felt this safe, this supported, this
validated, in a long time.
With my grateful thanks, XXXX
