I doubt that a divorce coach in a collaborative model is providing "medical" or
"health related" services while performing in such capacity and thus may not
come under HIPAA. Also, the client is not there for therapy or personal
counseling in the traditional sense. The divorce coach is there as part of a
collaborative team for a divorce and the client has expressly or impliedly
consented to the sharing of information by team members.
