OK. We are now up to 3 cases from Texas and since I know I have finally
submitted two and Norma Trusch has submitted one, those must be the three
cases. My cases were both very non-representative - they were cases with
one meeting apiece, not interdisciplinary, not with IACP members. I hope
that is not the picture people take away of what is going on in Texas.
New York has submitted 17 - Sue Brunsting is amazing at motivating her
practice group to participate. See the email report below.
If you finalize a case by Monday you have until the end of the month to see
that an IACP member on the case reports it. Please help us have a showing
in the research project. Surely some of you had cases that finalized at the
end of the year.

Some members have tried to send a partial report in by emailing a summary.
Only data collected on the online survey will be counted. To enter data in
the survey:
1. simply log in as a member of IACP;
2. then click on IACP Collaborative Practice Survey under Projects on
the IACP Member Home page;
3. then click on Please click here to access the survey page on IACP
Survey of Collaborative Practice Process page; and
4. then start reporting data on Section 1 of a new survey.
We have been asked if we are collecting data for non-family civil cases.
Absolutely! That is why there is an "other" blank on the type of case. Of
course, the data on civil cases may not be publicly reported as it would not
be valid, reliable data, unless there is a sufficient sampling.
A member wanted to know if we were collecting data internationally.
Absolutely! The Survey is very international friendly thanks to committee
member, James Pirrie. We even provide for reporting in your own currency,
using international friendly educational choices and postal codes. As you
can see from the chart above, we don't have data to report yet from either
England or Wales, but once you see a chart with a sufficient sampling from
your geographic area, just request it and we will provide it.
We have received email comments about specific cases. There is a place on
the survey called "General Comments" to provide that data if you want it
considered by the data analysts. There is also a section to include what you
want considered about future revisions to the survey in a comments section
at the end of the survey.
