Pauline and carl Michael,
Is it OK to forward this message on to our own practice group Listservs?

Pauline Tesler and Woody Mosten are offering an opportunity for interested practice groups to submit proposals for hosting a one-time “beta test” of a new joint "/Master Class in Becoming a Self Sufficient Full-Time Collaborative Peacemaker/."
We (Woody and Pauline) have been exploring areas of congruent interest as well as differences in approach, in a stimulating ongoing conversation about how we can do joint training that will give collaborative professionals the best of what we each have to offer. Our focus for joint training is how to move collaborative practice to the next level, for the individual and for the practice community.
The training that we are designing includes techniques with which Woody trains Collaborative Professionals worldwide. He has taught these approaches for decades in the fields of mediation and unbundled legal services. These are concrete, proven teachings aimed at the solo collaborative professional which develop step by step the conflict resolution and practice building skills and confidence required to take the leap into successful, profitable full time collaborative peacemaking.
In addition, this joint training will feature key elements from Pauline’s unique and highly effective practice/practice group/community-building training programs, proven to work in re-calibrating, motivating, and jump-starting practice groups that are prepared to take the collective leap to the next level. Pauline has been working with collaborative practice groups worldwide for nearly fifteen years, helping communities to launch collaborative practice in North America, Europe, Israel, Australia and New Zealand and conducting master classes in communities where CP is flourishing. Lately, she has been working intensively with practice groups that feel stuck at an unsatisfactory plateau in bringing CP to their communities.
Both of us have long been committed to an interdisciplinary approach with focus on flexible and compatible roles and interventions among lawyers, mental health coaches, and financial professionals.
We’ve developed a roadmap for a three-day Master Class and now we need to road test it, before we can confirm that it’s ready for prime time.
We are looking for a collaborative practice group or consortium of practice groups with an active membership of at least 40, located in or near a major urban center, who would like to host and participate in our first run of this joint Master Class.
_What the practice group gets:_
* · Three full days of training
* · Two dynamic internationally-recognized trainers who each will
be present for all three days
* · Two evening dinner discussions facilitated by both Pauline and
Woody
* · 18 hours of California MCLE/CFLS credit and BBS Credit (for
licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Social
Workers) (your own state may recognize California credits), or
cooperation with your own state professional credit application
* · Specific MCLE credit for ethics, professional responsibility,
prevention of substance abuse, as well as Certified Family Law
Specialist credits (California), if required
* · Trainers who meet IACP standards
* · Optional post-training mentoring and supervision via
telephone/ video conferencing directly with either or both of us
* Trainer fees discounted by 50% for this Beta Test only.
(Each trainer will bill for 1 ½ days of training time but will
be available for three days. Subsequent offerings of this Master
Class will be at usual trainers’ rates.)
_What Pauline and Woody get:_
* · An initial experience co-training with an “early adopter”
practice community
* · Feedback from experienced collaborative practitioners that
will help us refine and improve our initial training design and
pedagogical approach for subsequent full price delivery to other
groups
If your practice group has interest in hosting this “beta test” event, please contact either Pauline or Woody via email to discuss. We are looking for the practice community whose needs and stage of development seem best matched with ours for this first joint event.
