Would it be possible for you to forward the phone number and name of the
individual(s) you have been working with at the bar association. We recently
spoke with our bar association and they seem to have reservations like 1) they
will be favoring one group of lawyers over another 2) how do they screen calls
for those people who are candidates for collaborative, etc. They seem to be
willing to communicate with another bar association who is currently doing such

In Minnesota we are working with a bar assoc. pro-bono referral program. So
far we have completed one case and have two others started. We are looking
at moving to legal aid groups also. We decided it would work best to work
with other organizations because they already have an income qualification
system in place.
