I am not sure whether anyone has responded yet with Mission and Vision
statements from Minnesota. If they have please excuse:
**********************************
Mission:
To attract, support and train members to advance the practice and values
of Collaborative Law.
Vision:
Transforming family dispute resolution into a healing process through
collaborative practice.
************************************
It is good to take a look at these once again, and it reminds me that how
useful it is to keep these before us more prominently than we tend to. For my
part, I see what is happening in Minnesota as being very consistent with these
statements.
I remember the frustration we experienced when we sat down to draft these
statements. They didn't fall out of the air for us. I believe that when we
create lofty statements like these, they do, indeed, serve to provide
direction,
and perhaps create a self fulfilling prophecy.
