I'd like to see other jurisdictions' Mission Statements so here's Michigan's
(developed with the invaluable assistance of Liz Ferris during a Strategic
Planning retreat):
We believe that collaborative practice offers attorneys, mediators, mental
health and financial professionals and their clients a humane, respectful
and effective way to resolve disputes.
Our goal is to develop and promote collaborative practice throughout
Michigan through public education and training and support of professionals.

Dear Collaborative Colleagues:
While the Cincinnati Collaborative Group (Cincinnati Academy of
Collaborative Professionals) has been around since 1997, we are just getting
around to working on a Vision/Mission Statement.
Ok... better late than never!! As Mark Twain (Samuel Clemmons) said,
"Everything in Cincinnati happens ten years later", so we are really right
on schedule!!
In an effort to not reinvent the wheel, I would ask that if your practice
group has developed a Mission statement, it would be very appreciated if you
could send me a copy, or provide a link to access same.
