Our dues are equal for all professionals. This mattered to me because there
is a danger in having different levels of dues. It is hard enough to
maintain equal standing for the three professions, and I am deeply committed to
that being a goal, at least, towards which we aspire. I do know that fees are
not the same for each profession and money earned on a given case is also not
the same, but I do think having equal dues so that equal standing in our
organizations is an important statement about our plan to change the nature of
divorce. I also think the issue of organization participation is subtly
influenced by unequal dues.
