Thank you for your suggestion. I will try the adb solution again, and
maybe I'll get lucky. Unfortunately, in the past when I tried this (with
Walter's help during the last install fest) we couldn't get it to work
because the latest version of adb has some bugs. It doesnt work for all
phones and in particuluar the one I want to back up.
I would also like to back up an Iphone that I have. Any suggestions on how
to do a full backup of that to a computer? Itunes doesn't cut it for full
backup, its highly selective in what it backs up. What I would really like
is to do a dd backup (bit for bit) of the whole iphone, and be able to
restore same.
