Here's the information on the "Installing and Using Linux"
course that Jeff is teaching beginning on October 15.
Jeff, we tried to run the courses as CIS courses, but we
ran out of time so George and I decided to shoot for
the spring semester for the CIS courses. So these courses
will have an MAT (math) prefix just like the one in the
summer.

course: MAT 198 Installing and Using Linux
CRN: 45250, section 55
time: MW 6-8pm, Oct 16 - Dec 10
location: MAT-1 (same room as the LUG meetings)
text: Running Linux, 4th ed., O'Reilly Books

There's only room for 16 people, so sign up
quick if you're interested.

**They should have the new security course in the system
by friday. I'll post a message with that info that as soon as
I get it.**

This is a good course packed with a lot of info for beginners
and the experienced. I hope some people can take it!
