For the time being just hook your computer to your router using a CAT5
(ethernet) cable as Devi has already suggested. That way you can get on
the Internet. It is faster going that route anyway. I believe that I
have some WiFi dongles one of which may work with your system.

use wasn’t recognized by mint automatically so you’d have to
look up how to enable it in Linux (if possible) or just use a
wired connection, Or get another wireless dongle that is Linux
