ABBA Raffle and Fundraiser,
This is a difficult time for all of us and I hope this letter finds all
ABBA bowling members and families well and safe.
Unfortunately, the Midwest Tournament and the National Tournament were
canceled this year due to the COVID-19 virus. I was looking forward to
seeing everyone and had hoped to raise money at those tournaments for the
ABBA and have some fun doing it!
We are still having the raffle drawings on May 24th and hope everyone will
use this last chance to support ABBA by purchasing raffle tickets. Don't
forget, there will be 4 LUCKY cash prize winners!
The 4 winners will split equally one third of the total ticket sales. Two
thirds of the raffle ticket sales will go to the ABBA general fund. Two
thirds of your raffle ticket purchases are tax deductible.
Each ticket has 4 chances of winning! The tickets are $5.00 each or 5
tickets for $20.00 The more tickets sold, the higher the CASH prizes and
the more money raised to support our ABBA.
Buying tickets is EASY!
Just send me your name or a list of names, contact information (address and
phone number), number of tickets you want and a check made out to the ABBA
before May15th. Linda McClary (fundraiser committee
member) will help me fill out ticket stubs and send you the ticket receipts.

We won’t know how much the Cash prizes will be until all ticket stubs and
money are turned in.
Those of you that have been selling tickets, please return all ticket stubs
and funds back to me with a check by May 15th.
The drawing will be on May 24th. Winners will be notified and posted in the
Blind Bowler.
