On behalf of the organization, I forward you the following conference
announcement:
It is our pleasure to announce that registration is now possible for
the *“Impact
of Rome in the East”* conference that will take place at *the University of
Groningen* on *Friday April 22, 2022*. The papers that will be presented
tackle the question of the influence of Rome on the eastern provinces of
the Empire through the multi-disciplinary analysis of the ancient mortuary
record.
The event will be held in a hybrid format. In person attendance will be at
the Expositiezaal of the Harmonie Building (Oude Kijk in Het Jatstraat 26,
9712 EK Groningen). Registration is required for both physical and virtual
attendance through the following form

Member students of the ARCHON Research School of Archaeology can earn 1
ECTS for their attendance of the workshop by submitting a reflection report
on a theme(s) discussed during the workshop.
