highly motivated individuals to work in a fast-paced, high-energy
environment with a group of equally talented professionals. We develop
and host web-based learning management solutions that can integrate
with our client's internal environment, client authorized external sites,
content servers or public web sites. Our solutions support internet,
intranet and extranet connectivity. We adopt our client's look and feel
and support internet, intranet, or extranet connectivity. We are
developing reusable objects and are writing in a modular fashion to
expedite future development. You take an active role in the design,
development and deployment of our client solutions as we actively
solicit ideas and suggestions from our development staff.
Role Description:
Lead developer involved in the design, development, testing, and
deployment of web based learning management solutions. Solutions are
based on an n-tier architecture and utilize both server side and client
side logic. Responsible for leading a small development team and
interfacing with implementation and client management teams. Some
client interaction will be necessary as well.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience. A
minimum of five years of experience in the design and development of
web based business application software. A minimum of four years of
experience with Active Server Pages, JavaScript, HTML, and DHTML.
A minimum of 4 years of experience with relational databases, preferably
SQL Server. A minimum of 1 year of experience with XML and XSL.
Basic Project Management skills and the ability to provide level of
effort
estimates. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience / Ability to mentor intermediate and junior web developers
Ability to interface with client technical staff, sub-contractors and
other
technical resources external to edcor Ability to recommend
infrastructure modifications Experience / Ability to interpret and aid
implementation teams in the development of detailed specifications
