Job Description:
These Security Analysts are tasked with maintaining
several existing security systems, as well as new
security systems that are being developed currently.
These systems are required to provide a secure, global
eBusiness environment. They are responsible for
managing role based access control(e.g. SiteMinder
policies, rules, responses, etc.) for web
applications. The key role of these Security Analysts
will be to interface between development and security
teams. They are critical to daily processes, and
ensure access to web applications is functional.
The Global Security Analysts primary responsibility is
to maintain the integrity of the development,
pre-production and production environmnents from a
security standpoint. They work closely with customer
areas in order to accomplish this. These environments
require synchronization to ensure application
programmers can develop and test their applications in
consistent environments. The development environment
is used to deploy and test SiteMinder features and the
effectiveness of rules or rule modifications prior to
migrating to pre-production and then production.
